Comedy film
director Priyadarshan is all set to create his magic again with his new film ‘Rangrez’ starring Jacky
Bhagnani opposite Priya Anand in the lead roles. However, the director wants to
roped his all time favorite Akshay Kumar in the lead. But Jacky got lucky
enough and got the chance. The popular south beauty Priya Anand is in the lead
roles. The rest of the cast will consist
of newcomers. The film will be produced by Vasu Bhagnani under Puja
Entertainment banner. The music in Rangrez will be by Sajid Wajid.
Rangrez
is the remake of Samuthirakani’s Tamil movie “Nadodigal”. Nadodigal starred
Sasikumar and Ananya in lead roles and was a hit in 2009. The story is all
about friendship and how friends can play the role of brother, sister, mother
and father. Three friends who eats, sleeps and parties together haave their
individual ambition in life. The trio
promises to help one of their childhood friend. His childhood friend is facing
love problem. The trio manages to help the couple and get married. During this
whole drama the three friends end up being put in the jail and getting
entangled in a kidnapping case. However they are released as time goes by. To
their utter dismay they realise that the star crossed lovers they had managed
to unite at such great personal and emotional loss have gone their separate
ways having grown bored of each other. They realise that the battle they fought
did not serve any purpose. What the trio then does to teach the couple a
lesson, forms the movie climax.
Let’s
wait and see what Priyadarshan shows in2013. Some of his previous hits include
Hera Pheri, Hungama, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhaag and many more. He has also
worked with some of the most talented actors like Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal.
Rangrez will hit the theatres on 21st March, 2013.
