Himmatwala Remake 2013

Sajid Khan after his last few hits with “H” word, (“Hey Baby”, “Housefull” and “Housefull 2”) is back with Himmatwala.  Himmatwala is an upcoming bollywood comedy action romance film. It is a remake of the 1983 blockbuster with the same name, which had Jeetendra and Sridevi in the lead.  The remake is also starring southern actress Tamannaah and is expected to hit the theatres on 29^st March, 2013. It is jointly produced by UTV Motion pictures and Vashu Bhagnani. It is an official remake of the 1983 blockbuster of the same name which itself was a remake of a Telugu film Ooriki Monagadu of 1981.

The 1983 Himmatwala starring Jeetendra was no doubt cheesy, loud and completely predictable. Still it was a huge hit. And now in 2013 Sajid is trying to ruin a whole generation’s memory. Ajay Devgan is trying to act funny while dancing whereas jeetendra was doing path breaking stuff at that time. Apart from Ajay devgan the film is starring Tamannaah. 

Actor Ajay Devgn is speaking in five different languages in a particular scene in the movie. He will speak in Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi and Tamil. The soundtrack of Himmatwala includes remakes of the hit songs from the old version of the film, "Taki O Taki" and "Nainon Mein Sapna." Nainon mai sapna has been re-created with the singers Amit Kumar and Shreya Ghoshal.

Two more bollywood superstar Jeetendra and Akshay kumar will be seen as special appearance in this movie. Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha will also be seen dancing in a retro peppy number, Thank God Its Friday,” in Himmatwala.  Let’s see Sajid khan makes the audience nostalgic or just tortured.
